Good food for the price

This place has the best chicken fried steak in the bay area. I can't find any place that makes it better and I've tried. I've converted many others to this cozy cafe just for this dish. The owners are also super friendly and chatty if you like that small town feeling. I like my sauce on the side and which is why it's in another bowl. Try this dish out. You won't be disappointed.

If you love an old cafe feel from the 80s or maybe before, this is a great breakfast spot. Staff is friendly enough, basic cafe items, good prices, old decor and seating, probably original. Nice place, come here frequently, always recommend for the authenticity.

The food was good enough, however the coffee had a strong detergent taste to it. I'm not sure what happened but bad coffee usually means a bad time.

Pleasantly surprised! It wasn't busy when I went in for lunch around 12. It is a very nicely decorated and clean restaurant with plenty of seating. We ordered and received our food right away. It was delicious, and extremely well priced( if anything I found it under priced). I definitely plan on making this a regular place to visit.

I came to eat with my family, we were visiting so from out of town and we wanted breakfast, it had amazing reviews so gave a tried, I wouldn't recommend this place the food tasted worst than a hotel breakfast, my daughters left all their food, and the prices were crazy high, if you want to eat good breakfast don't come here

Breakfast food was awesome. Small diner and server worked hard to maintain all tables. Great little arestaurant.

Food was great! A nice large portion of food for your money. Place was clean and service was great! Prices were beyond reasonable, great comfort food in a place mostly the locals come to. I stumbled upon this place walking down the street because if you're driving and blink you might miss it! I checked the reviews and found that my brother had gave it a 5 ⭐ review so i had to try it.

Never fails to dissappoint when I come here. Fast friendly service every time, and food is hot and tasty. Pay at the register when you're ready. Too bad they're not open for dinner too.

My go to breakfast place was closed for the holiday and they suggested this place the day prior. Warning cash only.I ordered the chorizo omelet special. It was terrifically prepared.It looked over done but NOT! This was amazing combination of flavors. The service was attentive without hovering.The coffee was better than average in strength and flavor.Now I'll be torn on which shop to eat at on my return to the area.

An off the path little gem if you're staying near the airport! I grew up in Texas, still live in D/FW, and I highly recommend heir Chicken Fried Steak and eggs with sausage gravy! Wow! French toast is also fantastic. Wash it down with a perfect cup of Joe! In a hurry? No waiting to eat here! And it's a neighborhood joint, not a tourist trap, so prices are very reasonable!

This is one of my favorite breakfast spots. It has a classic, family restaurant feel and the food is exactly how I would hope it would be. Definitely will return.

All was well, until they decided to mop the floor as I was eating. The smell of bleach ruined the experience for me.

Great food and service at a great price

Booths, tables and counter seats, standard menu, ok prices. Food was delivered before drinks or silverware. Never did get my toast. But you have to give credit where credit is due, the scrambled eggs were absolutely perfect.

Here on a lyft mission.... super hungry I ordered a cheeseburger with everything on it it came super fast I love it very hot and fresh great atmosphere comfortable eating environment

This place is the best breakfast location I have ever been! The chicken fried steak is soo good and the only place to order with white rice! 😁 Vickie is so good of what she does. And so all the crew! Great team work!😀
